Time & Location

14 Oct 2022, 3:00 pm AEST – 17 Oct 2022, 1:00 pm AEST

Cooran, Cooran QLD 4569, Australia

About the Event

Welcome to a space of deep nourishment and transformation. A place to ‘come home’ within ourselves as we explore together in community our story of ‘home’ and our ancestral blood lines.

We are gathering as women, as sisters of this inner work to awaken, inspire, integrate, transform, reconnect and REMEMBER.

REBIRTH. RECONNECTION. REMEMBERING.

Everything that we need is already within us.

Let’s awaken deeper layers of these pools of wisdom together…

…through the energy of the land where we will gather

…through the nourishing meals to replenish

…through the supportive and transformative workshops with experienced facilitators holding the safe container

…through our community as each woman hears the call to be present for this pivotal moment in our lives that will ripple out to the collective

All of you is welcome. This is a space and time to BE with deep listening within and allowing a strong connection within yourself.

Who is this experience for?

This experience is for women over 18 years old who are feeling to take a ‘deeper dive’ within a safe space to explore more about their story of home, family and their ancestral blood lines.

This space is for women who are feeling the call to:

  • express themselves freely
  • integrate parts of themselves that may have been suppressed or shut off
  • replenish in a nourishing nature based experience
  • ground through the experience of camping
  • connect with ‘like-hearted’ women
  • to connect more deeply with their creativity, Spirit, body and heart
  • be heard, seen, celebrated and supported

Although the facilitators are experienced with counselling modalities and holding safe containers for people to explore their emotional wellbeing, it is recommended that if you are deeply moving through releasing trauma that is quite live that you seek professional support from a psychologist or a person specifically trained in trauma support to best serve you.

Nourishing Meals

All meals are included from arrival (Friday afternoon) to the closing (Monday lunchtime).

There will be 9 nourishing meals provided from Friday dinner to Monday lunch with morning teas, afternoon teas, suppers and a range of herbal teas.

The nourishing food medicine of our meals will be made by beautiful Kalavati who is also facilitating our morning session of yoga and qigong.

The meals are gluten free and vegan to support a range of dietary needs of participants and are lovingly made with organic/spray free ingredients where possible. There will be bone broth and boiled eggs available on the side for anyone who wishes to add these items to their meals.

You are welcome to bring any additional food items that you may need or wish to nourish yourself with during your retreat experience.

Accommodation

To deeply immerse ourselves with the grounding and connecting earth element, we will be camping during the retreat.

The activity itself of creating a home away from home and honouring our personal needs in the process can be a strong gesture of self care and unpacking our story of what ‘home’ means to us.

To be held by nature and remembering that we too are nature is a humbling and interconnective experience that will be the foundation for our deeply transformative experience together.

GROUNDING. CONNECTING. BEING. DEEP LISTENING.  BEING EMBRACED BY THE ELEMENTS. STRIPPING BACK.

The land on Gubbi Gubbi / Kabbi Kabbi country that we will be calling home for 4 days is an enriching 72 acres of pristine land with land holders / custodians of the space that have been passionately transforming the space from cow paddock to forest.

We respectfully acknowledge the traditional custodians of the Gubbi Gubbi / Kabbi Kabbi country, past present and emerging.

We will be the only group staying on the land during our retreat.

We will be camping at a foot of a mountain to feel that supportive and nurturing energy holding us during our journey together. There are walking paths and a large dam for swimming with access to off-grid amenities for a deep nature emergence while having creature comforts.

Facilities and Features include:

- Compost toilets

- Showers using rainwater

- Filtered rainwater for drinking

- Enclosed space for our workshops

- Undercover kitchen and dining space

- Swimmable dam / natural pool

Itinerary / The flow of activities

There will be a range of activities and workshops/‘play’shops for us to dive a little deeper with exploring our ancestral line, building connection within ourselves and others, having deep rest and nourishment, creative expression all while integrating more layers of the ‘inner work’ in a safe, supportive and restorative space.

All of the activities are optional with space for rest and self care to support in integrating the transformations and ‘AHA!’ moments that may arise.

The activities include yoga, qigong, conscious dance, family constellations, meditation, creative expression, journalling and sharing circles.

All of these activities are suitable for any levels or experience and are offered in nourishing and ‘all inclusive ways’.

About Family Constellations

We live and act in numerous relationship systems every day. This spans from our family of origin, over our present family to social systems at work or at a hobby/sports club we are part of. Even our body in itself can be seen as a system.

Family & Systems Constellations is a tool to make relationships of any social system visible. Representatives mostly stand in for people, but also for places, illnesses, emotions,… and anything you have a relationship to. This is the starting point of the work. The beauty of this modality is that you can observe from the ‘outside’ while a representative will stand in for you.

Bert Hellinger, a German psychologist, developed this body of work based on his discovery of basic social laws that govern human relationship systems.

Making visible patterns of thought or behaviour, system dynamics and entanglements can clear the way for acknowledgment and resolution.

About your facilitators:

KATJA ~ Azul Conscious Movement teacher & Systemic Constellation facilitator

Katja shares her passion as an Azul Conscious Movement teacher and Family & Systemic Constellation facilitator. Both practices have been her medicine for re-establishing the body connection and re-creating balance of body, mind and heart.

After a corporate career in Human Resources years ago, she gained further qualifications in counselling practices in order to work with people in a more supportive way.

She offers what she loves by sharing the path of Azul in regular class formats and in series and workshops, as well as holding Family Constellation one-day workshops.

Drawing on 20 years of experience combined, in the corporate world, merged with all her training in body based modalities, Katja also offers one-to-one coaching. The focus lies on bringing the body back into the game of life to re-establish its resource of wisdom for balance and flow in all areas of life, particularly work.
