Azul Workshop ~ OPENING

This 6 hour Azul Conscious Movement workshop (includes 1 hour break) takes us into the third of Azul’s 4 Orientations: OPENING

To open is to awaken to the moment. It is feeling what is.

There is often a way in which we close when we do not get what we want… until we discover that we have a choice to stay open even when we are not getting what was expected.

This workshop is a part of a series exploring the 4 Orientations of Azul.

The Four Orientations are a core component of the work of Azul. They support a deeper experience both in the dance and in life. The Orientations act like a GPS that help us stay connected to our movement and navigate life with greater ease and grace. They support us in understanding that all that happens in life is part of our evolutionary journey. They provide a spiritual foundation that facilitates an upward spiral of awakening and a more meaningful life experience.

The Orientations are: Listening – Allowing – Opening – and Moving Towards. Each one has its own wisdom and together they keep us engaged in our dance with life and the awakening of love. This workshop will explore OPENING.

Opening extends us further, as we open we create space of new possibilities to emerge. Opening helps us to move beyond the limits of our conditioning and habitual patterns.

The ability to stay open gives us the courage to live in profound intimacy with all things and experience the inherent freedom that comes from our willingness to open.

With this workshop, you will

• Have an embodied experience of the Orientation of Opening
• Gain an understanding of how to work with this Orientation in daily life
• Discover the power of movement to awaken love
• Deepen in the experience of embodiment and anchor in the wisdom of the body
• Explore your body’s intelligence to support healing and spiritual growth

This workshop is hosted live by Azul teacher Katja Hofmann with the recorded teachings of Azul founder Amara Pagano. The whole workshop including all exercises will be done live in person.

About the facilitator:

Amara Pagano is the creator of Azul conscious movement, a path of personal transformation that utilizes movement to support awakening consciousness.

As a leader in the world of conscious movement,  Amara is forging a path for its continued evolution.

Through her work with Azul she is elevating the psycho-spiritual aspect of conscious movement and redefining the work we do on the dance floor as a path of awakening consciousness.

About the host:

Katja is a passionate Azul Conscious Movement dance and Family & Systemic Constellation facilitator. As part of the Conscious Dance Noosa collective, she shares her passion in monthly Azul classes, as well as a weekly morning class of Azul for women in Eumundi.

For deeper self-exploration using movement she offers Azul workshops and workshop series.

Bringing her two passions together, Katja also holds Family & Systemic Constellation workshops with movement exploration.
